Gemini Welcomes Jeremy Ng as Head of Asia Pacific Region
Today, we are excited to welcome Jeremy Ng as Gemini’s Head of Asia Pacific Region.
Jeremy will be responsible for shaping Gemini’s overall strategy in the region, developing products, and charting the course for operations. He will be based in Singapore and hire a team to build out our footprint there.
Jeremy joins us from Leonteq, which specializes in structured financial products, where he served as Asia CEO. Prior to his role at Leonteq, Jeremy worked at leading global investment banks including Goldman Sachs, Deutsche Bank, and Morgan Stanley across Hong Kong and Singapore.
Southeast Asia is a fast-growing and vibrant region in the global crypto movement and the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) has developed thoughtful regulation that is paving the way for further crypto adoption and innovation.
With Jeremy in place, Gemini intends to file its license under the newly formed Payment Services Act with the MAS as part of our global expansion strategy.
Jeremy is the latest addition to an incredibly accomplished group of senior leaders who have joined Gemini over the past few years, including Noah Perlman as Chief Operating Officer (formerly Chief Compliance Officer), David Damato as Chief Security Officer, Sydney Schaub as Chief Legal Officer (formerly General Counsel), and Robert Cornish as Chief Technology Officer.
If you are interested in joining Jeremy and his team in Singapore, please stay tuned for openings on our careers page – we’re hiring!
Onward and Upward,
