Introducing Hourly and Daily Prediction Markets for Zcash and Hyperliquid

Gemini has spent the past year-plus building a predictions markets platform focused on offering new ways to trade cryptocurrency price movements. But we're not done. As of November 2, customers can trade hourly and daily predictions contracts for Zcash (ZEC) and Hyperliquid (HYPE), two cryptocurrencies that have recently surged in popularity.

What's New

Introducing hourly and daily contracts for Zcash and Hyperliquid: Hourly contracts resolve at the top of each hour. The prices often react to a fast move, a news item or an intraday catalyst. Daily contracts resolve once at the end of the day, at a designated time.

How It Works

Contracts are event-based. Traders buy a Yes or No position on a question such as "Will ZEC be above (x) at (x) time]?" Each contract pays $1 if your side is right and nothing if it is wrong, so your maximum loss is the price you paid.

Get Started

The new markets are live on Gemini now.

1. Log in to your Gemini account, or create one.
2. Open the Predictions tab and select ZEC or HYPE.
3. Choose an hourly or daily contract, pick a price and start trading.
4. Review the contract rules, then confirm your order.

You can close a position before the contract resolves by selling it at the prevailing market price.
