Numeraire has redefined prediction-model-building by conducting a weekly tournament that compensates data scientists for developing high-performing trading models. Data scientists submit prediction models built on top of a data set that is shared with all other participants. They are rewarded based on the accuracy of the model they submitted and the quantity of Numeraire tokens (NMR) they staked, if any, for a given tournament.
