Fee Calculation

Transaction fees are calculated using the lower of the YES or NO contract price at the time of execution. Fees are not based on the $1.00 contract payout, but on the lower of the two prices.

As a result:

• Fees are lower when contract prices are near $0.00 or $1.00

• Fees are highest when contract prices are near $0.50

Formula

Fee = min(P, 1 − P) × Number of Contracts × Fee Rate

Where:

• P = contract price in USD

• Number of Contracts = total contracts executed

• Fee Rate = maker or taker rate
