Do we still earn a crypto reward if my referral reaches Icon or Legend status?
Yes! If your referral trades over $100, you both receive a Recruit reward. Legacy Icon/Legend participants continue to earn revenue share until their 12-month period ends.However, for multiple referrals, the total payout is subject to the maximum limit.
How can I track my referral’s progress?
Both you and your referral can monitor their trading activity and tier eligibility in the Rewards Hub. Once the 30-day qualification period ends, their final tier determines the rewards you both receive.
To qualify for referral rewards, the referrer’s account must be open, active, and in good standing at the time of reward payout. Suspended, restricted, or otherwise non-compliant accounts will not receive referral rewards.

12. Taxes on Referral Rewards
It's important to remember that any rewards earned through the Gemini referral program may be taxable income in your country of residence.
U.S. users earning over $600 in bonuses/promotions may receive a Form 1099-MISC from Gemini.
It's recommended that you consult with a tax professional to determine the exact tax implications of receiving rewards from our referral program. Additionally, you are responsible for reporting any income earned through our referral program on your tax returns. Failure to do so may result in penalties or fines from your local tax authorities.
13. Special Promotions
Gemini may, from time to time, offer special Referral Rewards Program promotions, whether to individual users or the general public. These promotions may be offered for a limited time and do not guarantee any permanent modification to the standard Referral Club Program. Unless otherwise agreed upon in writing, all promotions remain subject to these terms, except as otherwise specified by Gemini. Gemini reserves the right to discontinue, modify, or revoke any special promotion at any time without prior notice. Promotions are granted at Gemini’s sole discretion and take effect upon notice to applicable users and apply only to those designated by Gemini.
14. Referral Program Restrictions & Disqualifications
Gemini reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to delay, withhold, or deny any referral reward where it determines that there has been any actual or suspected fraudulent, abusive, or manipulative behavior, or any attempt to game or exploit the referral program. This includes, but is not limited to, the use of self-referrals, duplicate accounts, coordinated trading schemes, or other behavior that violates the spirit of the program.
Referral rewards are intended solely for individual users who open and use a Gemini account for their own personal use. Users who participate in or hold joint accounts, multi-user accounts, or institutional accounts are not eligible to participate in the Gemini Referral Rewards Program or to receive referral rewards. Rewards are limited to individual accounts only.
Gemini may review user activity at any time to ensure compliance with these terms and reserves the right to revoke rewards or disqualify users from current or future participation in the program without notice.
15. Amendment
Gemini may amend the terms of the Gemini Referral Rewards Program at any time in its sole discretion. Changes may include, but are not limited to, the duration of specific reward structures, eligibility of users, referral reward amounts, eligible jurisdictions, or any other aspect of the program. A user’s continued participation in the rewards program does not grant any vested rights, and no user may rely on the continued availability of the rewards program. Any limited-time offers or modifications do not establish a permanent entitlement to any user. Such changes shall be effective immediately upon posting to Gemini’s website and shall apply to all Gemini users.
