What is Monad?

(MON) is the native token of the Monad network, a Layer 1 blockchain designed to make existing networks including Ethereum faster and more scalable. MON is a native gas and security token that fuels all transactions and secures the Monad blockchain through staking. MON aligns validators, developers, and users around a shared incentive to scale the Monad network while remaining compatible with the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM).

Monad Staking

Staking is the process of contributing MON tokens to help secure and validate transactions on the Monad blockchain. In exchange, you earn rewards. At launch, customers are able to stake Monad fee free for a limited time.
