Gemini Releases XRP Edition of the Gemini Credit Card and Broadens Availability of RLUSD for U.S. Customers

Today, we’re excited to announce that we have released an XRP edition of the Gemini Credit Card in collaboration with Ripple.

With the ,² customers can earn up to 4% back in XRP on gas, EV charging and rideshare, 3% back on dining, 2% back on groceries, and 1% back on other purchases. In addition to this, we are partnering with select merchants to offer up to 10% back on qualifying purchases for all Gemini Credit Card holders.³ You can see all the merchants we’ve partnered with in the card benefits section of the Gemini app.

Gemini is also expanding access to Ripple USD (RLUSD). RLUSD is a USD-backed stablecoin issued by Ripple that has grown to over $640M in market cap since launch, ranking among the top six USD stablecoins.

RLUSD, which was on Gemini in May of this year, is now available as an optional base currency for all spot trading pairs to Gemini users in the United States. This makes it easier for traders to move between RLUSD and any other asset on Gemini in a single step, cutting out extra conversion steps and fees.

Why Gemini Is Expanding Its XRP Offering
