How to Join

Before the competition launches, you will want to ensure that your Gemini derivatives account is set up and ready to go. If you have yet to create a Gemini account and reside in a derivatives-enabled jurisdiction, to receive both a spot and derivatives trading account.

For Gemini users who have yet to activate their derivatives account, follow these steps:

1. via desktop or mobile web browser
2. Select the Account drop-down list at the top left of your screen
3. Select “Activate Now” next to the Derivatives Account option to begin the activation process
4. Read and accept the derivatives-specific terms and conditions
5. Transfer GUSD or BTC to your derivatives account

With your Gemini derivatives account set up, you are now ready to join the Gemini Leaderboard. Please note that you must join the Gemini Leaderboard to qualify for any of our derivatives trading competitions.

1. In your derivatives account, select “Join the Gemini Leaderboard”
2. Enter your customized Geminym and profile picture. Your Geminym is the alias that will be displayed on the Gemini Leaderboard to represent you
3. Agree to the terms and conditions
4. Congratulations! Welcome to the Gemini Leaderboard
