Gemini Now Offers USDT and USDC Transfers On Avalanche

For the first time, Gemini Exchange and Gemini Wallet customers can deposit USDT and USDC on Avalanche. With the addition, Gemini customers can make transfers for these stablecoins using multichain rails with Solana, Ethereum, Base, Optimism, Arbitrum alongside the latest network addition.

Multichain - AVAX

Launched in 2020 by Ava Labs, Avalanche is a layer-1 blockchain that uses the Avalanche Consensus Protocol, a consensus mechanism that leverages thousands of validations to confirm transactions. The network markets itself as a faster alternative to Ethereum and is used primarily for DeFi, gaming, and other enterprise applications.

Giving customers a mulitchain experience is a priority for Gemini. In August, we announced support for ETH and USDC on Optimism and Arbitrum in addition to the Ethereum network. Last month, we announced support for ETH and USDC deposits and withdrawals on the Base blockchain and gave multichain access to customers in New York.
