How do I find internship opportunities that will be a fit for me?
Gemini offers internships across several teams, including Product, Design, and Software Engineering. To find the opportunities that best align with your skills and interests, review our open roles on the careers site and make sure you meet the qualifications listed for each position. We welcome candidates from all universities, colleges, and majors.
When does Gemini offer the internship program?
Gemini offers three internship programs each year: two 16-week sessions during the school year and one 12-week summer session.
Do you need to move for an internship?
All interns are required to relocate to Gemini’s New York City headquarters for the duration of their internship. We believe the in-office experience is a valuable part of the program, giving interns the opportunity to collaborate closely with their teams, build relationships in person, and learn directly from mentors. To support those who need to move, Gemini provides a housing stipend for eligible interns.
Do you need to pursue a degree to be considered for an internship role?
We consider recent graduates and current students pursuing an associates, bachelors, masters or PhD.
What’s the overall interview process?
The interview process will vary on the position. For a Software Engineering position, please anticipate a standard online assessment and 3-4 virtual interviews. This is subject to change and the team will outline the process if you are selected to move forward with the interview.
Are internships paid?
Yes. All Gemini internships are competitively paid, and eligible interns may receive a housing stipend to support relocation. Interns also enjoy additional perks throughout the internship program.
Does Gemini offer visa sponsorship?
Yes, Gemini offers visa sponsorship for foreign national candidates living in and applying for roles in the US.
Sponsorship is subject to company and government approval. Note, both candidate and role must qualify for the requested status.
