Who can join the Gemini APAC VIP Programme?
The programme is open to Gemini users located in eligible Asia Pacific countries. You must meet one of the following:
- Trade US$100,000+ over any rolling 3-month period
- Hold US$100,000+ in assets on Gemini at the end of each quarter
- Provide proof of US$100,000+ in trading volume or assets on another exchange
- Show current VIP status on another crypto exchange. Once you provide your verification materials to Gemini, Gemini will assess whether you meet the minimum trading volume or your total assets holding meets Gemini’s VIP requirements.
Which countries are eligible?
The VIP Programme is available to Gemini users located in Asia Pacific. If you’re unsure whether your country qualifies, email us at apacvip@gemini.com.

No, joining the VIP programme is free. Qualification is based on your trading volume or asset holdings.
What is the VIP protection period?
Once you qualify for VIP status, you’ll receive a 90-day protection period during which your status will not be downgraded - even if your volume or assets temporarily fall below the threshold.
How do I maintain my VIP status?
VIP membership is reviewed every 90 days since your onboarding date You must continue to meet one of the following every quarter:
- Maintain US$100,000+ in assets on Gemini at quarter-end, or
- Trade US$100,000+ over the previous 3 months
