WLFI is the governance and utility token of the World Liberty Financial ecosystem, a DeFi platform launched in 2024 by the Trump family and affiliated partners. The token allows holders to vote on key protocol decisions, including reserve strategy, upgrades, and other governance parameters. WLFI was initially distributed via private sales and strategic allocations and remained non-transferable until mid-2025, when a tokenholder vote unlocked trading for the first time.
