What is Links?
Links (LINKS) is the golf coin - the fungible token of LinksDAO, a decentralized golf organization merging blockchain technology with real-world golf club ownership. The token was launched on the Base network in February 2025 to serve as a community engagement asset and medium of participation within the LinksDAO ecosystem.
What is the LINKS token used for?
LINKS functions as a community token, used to onboard new golfers, reward participation, incentivize golf-related engagement, and connect members across golf and crypto experiences. It complements the LinksDAO NFT membership program and may be integrated into third-party golf or gaming applications.
How was LINKS distributed?
LINKS has a total supply of 18 billion tokens. About 6 billion were allocated to LinksDAO members and NFT holders at launch, while the remaining tokens are reserved for community rewards, partnerships, and ecosystem development. No public sale was conducted — the launch was community-based and airdrop-driven.
Is LINKS available on major exchanges?
LINKS initially launched on decentralized exchanges native to Base (such as Aerodrome) with limited liquidity. Gemini’s listing would represent one of the first major centralized exchange offerings for the token.
