Gemini Returning User Incentive Program

1. How does it work?

   • All Gemini user requirements and Gemini incentives will be provided in an offer to eligible users by email or other written communication directed towards that specific Gemini user. Any offers are non-transferable and may only be accepted by the intended Gemini user.

   • This program is subject to and governed by the , any other applicable Gemini terms and conditions, and the terms included on this page. This is a limited time offer, and Gemini reserves the right to revoke any offer at its sole discretion. Void where prohibited or if Gemini determines that the customer is not eligible for the offer.

2. What types of trades count towards the trading thresholds?

   • All instant buy/sell/convert and market order trades count towards the trading thresholds, or as otherwise made available Gemini from time to time in its sole discretion.

   • Excluded: fiat-stablecoin trades, stablecoin-stablecoin trades, crypto and fiat deposit and withdrawal

3. Who is eligible?

   • This program is only available in limited jurisdictions at Gemini's sole discretion. Gemini may, from time to time, immediately, and at its sole discretion, modify this list of eligible jurisdictions or make this reward available to users in other territories, subject to applicable law. 

4. Taxes.

   • It's important to remember that any rewards earned through this incentive program may be subject to taxes in your country of residence. When you receive crypto rewards, the value of that reward may be considered taxable income. Bonuses/promotions paid to US persons will count toward the $600 threshold of income earned on the Gemini platform that will require Gemini to issue the Form 1099-MISC.

   • It's recommended that you consult with a tax professional to determine the exact tax implications of receiving rewards from our referral program. Additionally, you are responsible for reporting any income earned through our referral program on your tax returns. Failure to do so may result in penalties or fines from your local tax authorities. 

5. Amendment.

   • Gemini may amend the terms of this program at any time in its sole discretion. Changes may include, but are not limited to, the content of the program, the process for earning rewards, the threshold for earning rewards, eligibility of any users, eligible jurisdictions, or the timing and distribution process for rewards. A user’s continued participation in the rewards program does not grant any vested rights, and no user may rely on the continued availability of the program. Such changes shall be effective immediately upon posting to Gemini’s website and shall apply to all Gemini users.
