Zerion- All-in-One Portfolio Management for DeFi -100

Summary

Offering both a web and mobile app, Zerion is a portfolio management interface for decentralized finance investors. The Zerion app allows you to track the performance of all of your DeFi assets in one place. Additionally, Zerion’s crypto platform enables you to interact with DeFi protocols, making it possible to purchase and trade tokens, borrow, lend, and provide liquidity to pools without leaving the app. The app offers 5 primary features: Invest, Pools, Exchange, Save, and Borrow, and access to the wide and growing world of DeFi.

A DeFi Portfolio Tracker & Investment Interface

Founded in 2016, Zerion is a portfolio management interface for decentralized finance (DeFi) investors. Zerion’s web and mobile applications make it possible to manage your DeFi assets in one place — even if they are spread across multiple wallets — allowing you to track returns, execute trades, lend, invest, and borrow without leaving the app.

The Zerion app is non-custodial and Ethereum-based, meaning that Zerion never has access to your private keys. The app tracks more than 50 DeFi protocols including Uniswap, Curve, Balancer, Yearn.Finance, Compound, and SushiSwap — among many others.

Getting Started with the Zerion Crypto Platform

Zerion does not use usernames and accounts, so to start using the app you must first create or connect an Ethereum wallet such as Metamask, Metamask mobile, Ledger, Fortmatic, Coinbase Wallet or TrustWallet. Zerion also offers its own wallet, which works only within its app. You can connect multiple wallets to Zerion and, if you have existing assets, you can start tracking them immediately. If you do not have any DeFi assets but wish to acquire some, you can purchase ether (ETH) on Zerion or from an exchange, and immediately start investing after depositing the ETH into your wallet.

Features of the Zerion App and Zerion Wallet

The Zerion blockchain interface displays the total value of your DeFi assets and your portfolio’s performance in addition to the value and performance of individual assets. The app offers 5 primary features: Invest, Pools, Exchange, Save, and Borrow.

The Invest feature enables you to buy and sell ERC-20 tokens, such as DeFi index tokens, which track a basket of DeFi tokens; governance tokens, which allow you to vote on changes to DeFi protocols; and social tokens, which have a variety of functions such as allowing you to access a gated Discord community or invest in a creator’s career. You can also browse tokens by market-cap or by category, such as Layer-2 scaling tokens, for example.

The Pools feature allows you to supply liquidity to liquidity pools on decentralized exchanges (DEXs) such as Curve, SushiSwap, Uniswap, Balancer, Bancor, Badger, and KeeperDAO, among others. These exchanges are automated market makers (AMMs), which rely on user-provided liquidity to execute trades instead of a traditional orderbook. As a reward for supplying liquidity, you can earn fees on trades executed in the pool.

The Exchange feature allows you to trade tokens, including liquidity provider (LP) tokens and tokens received from depositing assets in vaults on platforms such as Curve and Yearn.Finance. The Zerion crypto platform sources its liquidity from popular DEXs such as SushiSwap, Uniswap, Balancer, and Curve among others, and therefore queries all of these platforms to find cheap and fast ways to trade on your behalf.

The Zerion app’s Save feature is integrated with Compound, a decentralized money market protocol, and allows you to lend your DeFi assets and earn interest as a reward. Additionally, you can take out a collateralized loan via Zerion’s Borrow feature, which is integrated with protocols like Compound, Maker, and Liquity. Collateralized loans allow you to borrow assets, such as stablecoins, against collateral, such as ETH, that you deposit until you can pay back the loan. Zerion’s interface shows you a summary of your loans, including the total amount of debt you have accumulated, the total amount of collateral you have put down, and the interest accrued.

As the DeFi ecosystem continues to grow at an impressive rate, Zerion’s unified portfolio asset management interface is a powerful tool for keeping all of your investments and engagements in one place.
