The Health, Safety, and Environment Resource iLibrary "THRIL" is a new online training resource developed in Canada for the Oil and Gas, Manufacturing, Construction, Government and Institutions, and Utility Industries. Gemini Performance Solutions' expert eLearning team based in Calgary work closely with well-known and highly respected Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) industry professionals to meet the demand for a more skilled, competent, and safe workforce. The ilibrary consists of 80 courses and assessments and continues to grow. THRIL courses have been developed considering the legislative requirements and best practices in Canada and have been designed and are maintained to meet all applicable government regulations.

Each online course offers a standards-based presentation of best practices and policies tailored to meet individual roles for Managers, Supervisors, and Workers as they apply within Canada. THRIL has been established to provide a path of incremental learning leading towards three competency-based certificate we have created. Certification Maintenance and Registration Program Points (CMP) are awarded for these certificates from the Board of Canadian Registered Safety Professionals (BCRSP) and Canadian Registration Board of Occupational Hygienists (CRBOH) and the American Board of Industrial Hygiene (ABIH) and The University of Calgary Continuing Education awards up to 30 hours of credit towards their EHS certificate.

The Core courses (10 hours) qualify for credit towards the Oilfield Safety Practitioner (OSP) certificate. The Elective Course Series requires (12 hours) of training time (equivalent to 8 Electives) to obtain the Oilfield Safety Specialist (OSS) certificate. Upon completion of the Core and Elective Series of online courses, the Oilfield Safety Technologist (OST) certificate requires (10 hours) from courses in the Enrichment Series. This advanced certificate offers CRSPs and ROHs a solution to easily and inexpensively obtain compulsory certification maintenance points to preserve their designations.
