Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS)

On completion of this WHMIS Course you will be able to: Determine your responsibilities and the responsibilities of your employer, protect yourself from hazardous materials by identifying and interpreting supplier labels, describe the purpose of Material Data Safety Sheets (MSDS), and identify the appropriate PPE from a label or MSDS.

Office Supervisor Safety Training

Designed and developed for head office personnel, this course describes wellsite supervisor requirements, general safety rules, Prime Contractor responsibilities, incident reporting, hazard assessments, job safety analysis, and an overview of safety orientation requirements.

Safety and General Procedures

This is one of several courses set-up to deliver task description and procedure training to people working in remote areas for Husky's Upstream Operations group. In this course, the learner reviews safety and basic operating tasks.

Spill Management Training

This course has been designed to help you address "full cycle" spill issues on a consistent, effective and efficient basis. Topics include spill reporting procedures, spill containment and recovery, regulations, and environmental practices.

Using the HSE Manual

This is a short course design to prepare you to use the online version of Husky's Health, Safety, and Environment Manual. Upon completion of this course you will be able to: Locate policies, standards, regulations, and alerts for specific situations in the HSE Manual, and find the appropriate form for a specific situation in the HSE Manual.

Wellsite Supervisor Safety Orientation

Designed and developed for wellsite supervisors, topics in this course include wellsite supervisor requirements, general safety rules, Prime Contractor responsibilities, incident reporting, hazard assessments, job safety analysis, and a detailed description of worker orientation requirements.
