Gemini and UDR collaborate to offer Fair Housing Course Online
Other courses including Spanish versions part of eLibrary.
Calgary, Alberta, Canada - Gemini Performance Solutions Inc., (Gemini) and United
Dominion Realty Trust (UDR) announced today that they have finalized an
agreement to offer UDR's online training programs to other organizations.
Gemini has been successfully working with UDR for the past five years developing
online training programs in the SWIFT Learning Environment. Increasingly more and more organizations in
the multifamily housing industry are turning to eLearning, as a solution for
many of their training needs. While
Gemini has already been offering the OpsTechnology course they created for UDR,
some of the other courses impact a larger target market. The quality of the OpsTechnology course led
to inquiries about other courses that might be available, such as UDR's Fair
Housing program. Gemini and UDR saw the
win-win opportunity to capitalize on making other programs available.
Susan Northcutt, VP and Director of Talent Development at UDR, stated that, "Early
on, we found that the courses available in the marketplace were very limited
and didn't meet the learning needs of our associates. We made the decision to custom-design programs so that we could
incorporate our policies, procedures, and business practices. Gemini's eLearning technology, their
instructional design, and content development expertise have consistently met
or exceeded our expectations. While
we're not in the business of selling training programs, making our programs
available to other property management companies is an unexpected source of
revenue.

wheel? So we approached UDR about reselling their course content. We use our own eLearning technology and
internal expertise to develop courses so we are able to easily customize them

our pricing, was exactly what Lincoln Property Company was looking for and
became our first customer to purchase the Fair Housing course."
