AltaLink Rolls Out eLearning Safety Program with Gemini

Calgary, Alberta, Canada - Gemini Performance Solutions Inc., (Gemini) announced today that AltaLink, Alberta's largest electric transmission owner and operator providing transmission service to more than 85 per cent of Albertans, have successfully piloted and begun delivering their first eLearning program to over 500 employees and third party contractors located throughout the province.

Gemini worked closely with AltaLink over several months to develop safety certification level 1 and 2 eLearning courses for entering their substations. As part of the solution, Gemini is also providing ASP hosting services and GeMS, their Learning Management System, which allows AltaLink to manage, track and certify all users remotely.

Altalink contractors, who are required by law to complete and pass this training prior to entering a substation, like the fact that Gemini's eLearning solution eliminates the travel and accommodation expenses that were incurred with the traditional method of classroom training.
