Husky Launches eLearning Solution from Gemini for Upstream Oil and Gas Operations

Calgary, Alberta, Canada - Gemini Performance Solutions Inc., (Gemini) won a RFP in May to develop an eLearning solution for Husky’s Well Life Cycle Software, MaxWell, developed by WellPoint Systems Inc.

Husky recognized that they could significantly improve their ROI by enhancing both the usage of MaxWell and the performance of over 800 Husky employees by providing a better training solution. They had a very clear vision of the ideal eLearning solution that would accomplish this corporate objective. The eLearning solution included self-registration, user tracking, testing and reporting to ensure competency, independent authoring capability to update content, reusable content to ensure consistency and eliminate duplication, adaptive content to address specific roles and skill sets, and delivery both internally and externally hosted as well as on CDROM.

Working closely with Husky, Gemini began development of 16 highly interactive courses complete with animations, interactive exercises, and pre and post testing. Just four months later Husky successfully rolled out the complete solution without a glitch on time and on budget to their Calgary head office employees as well as their rig supervisors actively tracking day-to-day information.
