Management Team
Kim Adolphe
Founder, President, and Chief Executive
Officer
A consummate entrepreneur, Kim founded Gemini in 1990 by
selling her only liquid asset - her car. She conceived the
original concept of the SWIFT technology and gathered an
outstanding development team to bring the concept to
fruition. Since then, Gemini has successfully launched a
range of eLearning and performance software applications
that are used by multi-billion dollar corporations
worldwide.
Kim raised millions of dollars to fund the company over
the years through government grants, public and private
investors, and retained earnings. Under her direction,
Gemini has thrived under adverse conditions and has emerged
as a privately held, profitable, leading provider of
eLearning and performance-based solutions.
Kim has sat on a number of Boards for both private and
public companies. In her spare time you'll find Kim with
her family, coaching soccer, skiing, riding, practicing
karate, and sleeping.
Dana Baillie
Director of Technical Services
Dana is responsible for technical research and development for Gemini's suite of software products. He also works closely with Gemini clients overseeing software customization, integration, and technical support. Dana began his career with the Canadian Armed Forces where he claims he learned discipline and how to work within a team environment. Then he pursued his career at Shell Canada in the IT department for several years before joining Gemini in 2000.
Philip Mayson
Project Manager/Instructional Designer
With a Bachelor of Arts and Masters of Arts degree (in progress), Phil brings an invaluable combination of creative and technical skills to the Gemini team. Phil's role and responsibilities are to improve functional and pedagogical performance by implementing both technical and creative methods to Gemini's client projects as well as our Research and Development initiatives.
Prior to joining Gemini, Phil was an instructor, curriculum designer, instructional designer and developer, and performance technology practitioner working with several corporations, including 3M Canada, the Department of National Defense, and the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology. Away from Gemini, you will likely find Phil studying, traveling, catching a college football game, and enjoying the perks that comes with a spouse that works at Bernard Callebaut Chocolaterie.
